Aluminum Tile Trim Manufacturing Process

Design & Tooling
The first step in the manufacturing process is to design and create the molding, but we already have over 5,000 mold sets, so you can directly use the mold to extrude the aluminum into the shape and size you need. But we can also provide design and customization services of aluminum trims for clients and can design customized molds according to clients' requirements.

Extrusion & Fabrication
Ghonor's factories in Vietnam and China have a total of 15 extrusion production lines. The tonnage of the extruders ranges from 600T to 2500 T. The extrusion process involves heating a billet of aluminum to a specific temperature and then pushing it through a shaped die to create the continuous profile of the tile trim. The output of the extruder at full load is 4000-4500 tons per month.

Cooling and Cutting
After the aluminum profile is extruded, it is cooled and cut into the required length using a cutting machine, such as 2.5 meters, or 3 meters, etc., and then stored in a semi-finished product warehouse for further processing.

Punching Hole
Holes or slots are punched into the aluminum tile trim using a punch press. Our regular holes are round, triangular holes, and king holes or customized holes. The main function of these holes is to facilitate installation, so that the aluminum tile trims can be fully bonded with the adhesive and the installation is more secure.

Finishes Treatment
We provide surface treatment processes such as anodizing, polishing, matte, brushing, powder coating, and wood grain. We have separate workshops for each surface treatment process. These technologies improve the durability and beauty of aluminum tile decoration, making it more resistant to wear, corrosion, and fading.

We have a professional quality inspection team to conduct inspections on the production line. All products must be inspected before delivery. We conduct online inspections and final inspections.
1. All raw materials are inspected after arriving at our factory.
2. All parts, logos and details are inspected during production.
3. Check all packaging details during production.
4. All production quality and packaging are subject to final inspection after completion.

packing
The surface of our aluminum tile trims will be covered with a protective film to ensure that the surface of the tile trim will not be scratched during transportation, handling, and installation. Generally, 20 pieces are wrapped with shrink film and 200 pieces per carton. Finally, wooden frames or wooden boxes can be packaged according to customer requirements, and then the tile trims can be shipped to dealers, wholesalers, and end users.
