Advantage
- High-traction mineral grit surface helps reduce slip incidents on smooth or worn steps.
- Safety yellow boosts edge visibility and supports "caution" wayfinding on stair noses.
- After bonding metal with strong acrylic adhesive, sealing wood, finished concrete and tiles, appropriate surface treatment is carried out.
- Weather-resistant structures suitable for indoor and outdoor use; Water-resistant and require regular cleaning.
- Quick installation, peeling, positioning and pressing; The wet zone can be optionally equipped with edge sealing to extend the service life.
- OEM-ready-brand printing, die-cut treads, and custom widths/lengths available for volume buyers.

Why is the staircase yellow?
Yellow is widely regarded as a cautious and eye-catching color, which can draw people's attention to potential tripping edges and help users distinguish between step anti-slip strips and step surfaces. On busy staircases, especially in low or mixed light, bright yellow stripes enhance visual contrast, making it less likely for people to miss their steps and posing a certain threat to personal safety.

Application
- Commercial buildings and schools: steps, auditoriums, corridors, attics
- Medical care and services: Service staircase, back-end corridor
- Industry and logistics: Platforms, catwalks, loading docks, equipment steps
- Transportation and public Spaces: Station stairs, pedestrian ramps
- Residential upgrade: Basement steps, deck stairs (sealed base plate)

Installation Guide
1. Prep the surface:
- Sweep/vacuum to remove dust and debris.
- Degrease with a mild cleaner; rinse and let completely dry.
- Remove loose paint or flaky coatings. For bare concrete, seal or prime if powdery.
2. Measure & position:
- Plan a straight run along the step nose, typically set back 5–10 mm from the edge to avoid peeling.
- Dry-fit first to confirm alignment on every step.
3. Apply the tape:
- Peel back the liner gradually while pressing the tape down from the center outward.
- Use a hand roller to apply firm, even pressure for full adhesive contact, especially at edges.
4. Seal (optional):
In wet or frequently cleaned areas, apply an edge sealer around the perimeter to block water and detergents.
5. Cure time:
Light foot traffic is okay after installation pressure is applied; for heavy traffic or scrubbing, allow adhesive to set (commonly 24 hours, depending on temperature and substrate).
Pro tips:
- Install above 10 °C (50 °F) when possible.
- On rough or porous surfaces, a compatible primer boosts adhesion.
- For exterior stairs, ensure the surface is completely dry before application.
Maintenance and upkeep
- Clean with a neutral, non-solvent cleaner and a soft-bristled brush or mop.
- Regularly inspect the edges with high traffic flow; If the gravel is obviously worn or the edges are raised, replace the part.
- To remove, heat the tape (with a low hot air gun), lift it slowly at a shallow Angle, and clean the remaining adhesive with an appropriate substrate remover.

How to choose
- Grit level: Coarser = more traction; finer = easier cleaning.
- Adhesive system: Look for quality acrylics for broad compatibility and lasting bond.
- Backing thickness: Heavier films improve durability at step noses.
- Environmental fit: Water, UV, and temperature exposure influence longevity-consider edge sealer outdoors.
- Visibility: Solid yellow improves contrast on dark steps; yellow/black hazard stripes (available on request) maximize contrast in industrial zones.
- Format: Rolls for continuous runs; die-cut treads for uniform, fast placement (OEM option).

About Us
fAQ
Q: Q1: Will it stick to outdoor concrete?
A: Yes-after proper cleaning and drying. Sealed or primed concrete provides the most consistent adhesion. Use edge sealer for weather-exposed steps.
Q: Q2: Can I apply on unfinished wood or rough concrete?
A: We recommend sealing or priming first. Porous surfaces can trap moisture and dust, reducing bond strength.
Q: Q3: How long does it last?
A: Service life depends on traffic, cleaning frequency, and exposure. Correct surface prep, firm application pressure, and edge sealing in wet areas significantly extend life.
Q: Q4: Can it be removed without damage?
A: Usually, yes. Warm the tape, peel slowly at a low angle, and follow up with an approved adhesive remover. Test in a small area first.
Q: Q5: Is the yellow color "compliant"?
A: Yellow is commonly used to indicate caution and highlight trip edges. Formal compliance varies by code and location-check your local regulations.
