Why is there a partial non-solidification phenomenon after applying epoxy tile filler

Reason

1. The colloid temperature of the epoxy tile filler is too high, the viscosity of the resin and the curing agent are inconsistent, the resin is greatly affected by temperature, and the curing agent is less affected by temperature. The flow rate is inconsistent under the same extrusion force, resulting in more resin and less curing agent, resulting in uneven proportions and local non-drying.

2. Uneven force or frequent gun retraction when applying epoxy tile filler causes uneven flow ratio of the colloid, resulting in local non-drying.

3. The glue gun is not standardized, and the output of the push rod on both sides is different, resulting in different glue output on both sides.

4. The uneven mixing caused by insufficient sealing of the inner core of the mixing tube causes local non-drying. The inner core of the unqualified mixing tube is very loose, and the materials cannot be fully mixed during construction.

5. The tail plug of the caulking agent tube leaks glue or the tail piston is loose, resulting in air in the tube, which will also cause uneven mixing of AB materials and local non-solidification.

6. The incision of the mixing tube is too small, and the resistance increases, which will cause uneven discharge of AB materials and non-solidification.

7. Due to the properties of the raw materials of the caulking agent, the two components AB of the product can only be cured when mixed in a ratio of 1:1. When the glue is first dispensed, the glue from the two tubes AB is not mixed evenly. If the reserved material of the first 40cm is not discarded and it is directly injected into the seam, the product will not be cured.

8. There may be bubbles in the hose, resulting in insufficient glue in the place containing bubbles during glue application, resulting in a soft surface after curing.

9. The curing agent of the caulking agent absorbs moisture seriously, causing the curing agent to fail and fail to cure.

Solution:

1. Lower the temperature of the colloid.

2. The glue application force is continuous and uniform, avoiding fast and slow, and reducing frequent gun collection.

3. Check the inner core of the mixing epoxy tile grout tube. If there is a local dry situation, it must be cleaned and glued again.

4. Do not use non-standard products. If you hear bubbles when applying glue, you must re-apply glue in this section in time to avoid poor curing.

5. Find a glue gun supplier with good reputation. It is best if the push rods on both sides can exert force evenly. It is recommended to use an electric glue gun.

6. Before or during glue application, check whether the tail plug is leaking epoxy tile filler. If glue leakage is found, do not continue to use it.
